Hirschmann Automotive is hiring for the position of Product Development Engineer a candidate with a Master degree in Mechanical engineering and first experience or internship in automotive industry (max 1 year).
The candidate must have the following skills:
Good skills in plastic injection.
Strong knowledge of design and CAD drawings of plastic components using CATIA V5.
Knowledge of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, 8D,FMEA
Basic knowledge of SAP.
Fluent English
Your main missions will be:
Produce detailed designs and CAD drawings for plastic components in collaboration with process teams and meeting customer requirements.
Define the product validation tests and follow up the results with the laboratory.
Leading the project from a product point of view from the RQP phase to the SOP following APQP.
Leading the feasibility studies for the new projects as well as for changes during the different phases of the project.
Participation/leading of the internal and external meetings.

Ensure customer deliveries availability on time
Daily monitoring of the value of the WIP and actions for all RM with high value.
